Darksiders Warmastered Edition Free for Owners of Original Title on Steam
Darsiders is old, but that’s ok! Old in 2016 doesn’t mean the same thing as it used to. We now have ways of catching a title up to the times through mods, HDR texture packs, and general wizardry. Either way, we won’t have to deal with those kinds of workarounds with this franchise because they have released the new Darksiders Warmastered Edition that is an entirely revamped version of the original and it is built for newer systems.
Originally priced at $20, the Warmastered Edition until December 2nd can be picked up on steam for the “what the hell are you thinking” price of $3.99, or just 9.99 for Darksiders and Darksiders 2.
Now you may be upset, because you got Darksiders some time ago and the game was great, but you’d like to play it again in the Darksiders Warmastered Edition that is optimized for your newest computer. Well, check your Steam library before you start shedding alligator tears, because those PC gamers that already owned Darksiders, got the Darksiders Warmastered Edition for the breakneck price of entirely free!
This title is a third person hack and slash adventure game that rests somewhere in between of God of War and Legend of Zelda. This adventure sees you in the role of War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. War, played by Liam O’Brian, is forced to clear his name from the crime of prematurely initiating the ultimate party, the battle of Armageddon.
Steam players should do themselves a favor and either grab up or install this game for a carefree romp through the end of the world. The Darksiders Warmastered Edition even features native 4k resolution support for those of us that have those sexy monitors or televisions.
Will you be picking up Darksiders Warmastered Edition? Will you install it having already been an owner of the original? Let us know in the comments and tell us what you think about the remastered version of the game.
