Fight Bosses Back to Back in Dark Souls Boss Rush Mod (VIDEO)
In Dark Souls, the smaller enemies before the boss are not only incredibly challenging, but can be an incredible nuisance to the player. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just skip the fodder and go straight in to the real boss fight? Now you can with the Dark Souls Boss Rush mod which allows players to take on individual bosses or even fight them all one after the other in quick succession.
If a player wanted to fight a specific boss such as Seath, the Scaleless, or the Asylum Demon, now they can. All that is needed is to download the exe, load a character, and then use the exe’s menu to start the chosen boss fight. If the mod doesn’t want to work with Dark Souls, creator of the mod Wulf2k suggests running it as an administrator. It is also suggested that players back up their saves so they don’t lose a favourite character. The reason for this is that defeating bosses in the Boss Rush mod will mess with event flags possibly leaving the save file in an unplayable state.
Players can choose between two settings of this mod: The normal Boss Rush, which takes gamers through the boss order as they would normally encounter them, or players can choose the Reverse Boss Rush which starts from the last boss in the order and then works backwards. Upon finishing Boss Rush, gathered souls will be displayed, the lower amount of souls means a faster time it took to complete. Check out the mod being played below for a better idea of how it works:
Wulf warns that there will be bugs and to report them on the reddit feed for the mod as seen above. He also warns that he is not responsible for anything potential problems that arise from downloading the mod. As with anything you find over the internet, stay cautious and keep your gear safe.
