Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X Limited Edition Console Revealed (VIDEO)

Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X Limited Edition

After quite a while of waiting, Cyberpunk 2077 is all but assured to arrive this year, with even the ongoing coronavirus pandemic still unable to shake the game’s upcoming release date. With that in mind, it was only recently when the CD Projekt RED game was teased to have new limited edition hardware planned to launch alongside the game. It now looks like that’s the case as an official Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console has been revealed.

Revealed in a newly-surfaced video (H/T Gematsu), the 1TB premium system is set to be released in June and was shown to sport a colorful metallic design inspired by the futuristic in-game cityscape of Night City. The outside of the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X also features such added touches such as glow-in-the-dark graffiti art, laser etchings, custom shell panels, as well as added LED lights to fully give off the vibe of the game. The limited package also includes the custom controller previously teased in a recent leak. Check it out below.

While very much a premium item, this look at the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X wasn’t done so in the most traditional of means. In addition to the aforementioned controller leak, Xbox actually put the limited edition console’s reveal in the hands of the fans, locking it behind a series of glitches and coded messages on social media. With the combined might of the internet, the console was unveiled just over a day after the challenge was issued, prompting a hearty congratulations on the part of the green brand.

A full reveal is expected to happen sometime in the coming days, but for now, Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X limited edition console is looking to release this June. The game itself will launch on September 17th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a confirmed release for next-gen consoles sometime down the line.
