Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course Receives New Release Date (VIDEO)
Cuphead is an incredibly difficult game to play through, and it comes to little surprise that it also took quite a lot of time to develop thanks to its incredible hand animated art style and challenging gameplay. It makes sense then that it would also take quite a while to create some expansion content for the title, and if the main game is anything to go by, the expansion is sure to be just as difficult. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long to see the intense action that’s to come.
A recent trailer arrived out of this year’s Game Awards showcasing the upcoming new content called “The Delicious Last Course” in all its glory. Alongside the trailer, a new post details all the content that will be making an appearance from new and very challenging levels to the latest upcoming character, Ms. Chalice. This brand new character will be playable through the main campaign as well as the new DLC, and she brings with her a modified moveset as well as new abilities once players unlock her. Fans will also be able to use new weapons and charms as they adventure across the already familiar Inkwell Island, this time with brand new bosses to take on. It’ll be interesting to see just what happens to the adventurous trio over the course of the brand new content.
The upcoming expansion is set to arrive on June 20th of next year for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
