Crysis Remastered Officially Announced For PC, Consoles
The game that served as one of the original benchmarks for high-end PCs is finally getting a remaster! That’s right, Crysis Remastered has officially been announced by developer Crytek, with said remaster confirmed to be “coming soon.”
Crytek took to Twitter to make the big announcement. “You’ve been asking. You’ve been waiting,” the post reads. “Today, that wait is over. It’s coming: Crysis Remastered on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and – for the very first time on the Nintendo Switch Platform.” Full tweet below:

While the remaster is officially on its way, there isn’t much else we currently know about the game. The Crysis website is as vague as the game announcement, with the site simply stating that “Crytek’s ground-breaking, critically acclaimed first person shooter is back!” There’s also a place for folks to sign up for the newsletter for more information when it gets released. More news on the remaster will likely surface soon, so stay tuned!
Crysis Remastered is now in development for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
