Latest Code Vein Trailer Features Impressive Visuals And Brutal Gameplay (VIDEO)

Code Vein Trailer

As we slowly approach the new year, so too does the as-yet unannounced 2018 release date for Bandai Namco’s Code Vein. Developed by the team behind God Eater with an anime Souls-Like premise, the title looks to be a strong contender for those looking to get their Dark Souls fix with some beautiful anime visuals on the side. Bandai Namco has released a new Code Vein trailer during the Golden Joysticks award ceremony titled ‘Misbehave’, and if this trailer doesn’t hype you up for the game, nothing will. Check it out below:

Given the catchy music and the blurbs from game reviewers popping up throughout the Code Vein trailer, one could be forgiven for confusing it with an actual launch trailer. Alas, with no solid release date, those looking forward to Code Vein will have to take what they can get. On the plus side, the ‘Misbehave’ trailer showed off some impressive game visuals, some of which appear to be of some of the title’s bosses, many of which are pretty terrifying. In addition to the boss visuals, we are also treated with a good look at some of the characters that will appear throughout the game, many of which can act as the player’s NPC companion.

Despite the sleek visuals and oft-times adorable NPC characters, Code Vein will more or less be the opposite of a walk in the park. If the brutal gameplay we have seen thus far is any indication, the latest offering from the God Eater team seems to have more than earned its title as a Souls-LikeCode Vein will release at some point in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
