New Details on CoD WWII Multiplayer Classes and Loadouts [UPDATED]

COD WWII Multiplayer's Classes

Call of Duty WWII is shaking things up in big ways and going back to their roots, according to the team. From the gritty single player campaign featuring WWII as its historical locales, to the revamped multiplayer – fans are going to see a return of that much beloved style of gameplay Call of Duty was once famous for. CoD WWII multiplayer classes are undergoing changes that return the game to a more classic loadout system. Gone are the days of the Create-A-Class, replaced by a new system called Divisions, which we’ve mentioned before.

COD WWII Multiplayer's Classes

Divisions are a return to the more classic shooters with 5 different classes with differing perks and weapons for each. Similar to Battlefield 1, players will able able to choose between: Infantry, Airborne, Armored, Mountain, and Expeditionary. Each class has its own weapons to choose from as well as their own skills and training perks. The Infantry will be able to choose from rifles such as the M1 Garand or the BAR, while the Airborne will have a selection of SMGs, and the Expeditionary will have a variety of shotguns to choose from.

Players will need to progress themselves through each tree leveling up skills and abilities. This can be done throughout the multiplayer game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, or WAR -which is the upcoming narrative-based game mode similar to Battlefield 1’s Operations. WAR will focus more on objective-based strategy than the other modes coming to the game bringing in a new experience that all players can enjoy.

CoD WWII multiplayer classes are an interesting take on a classic system. Players will have a chance to try out these Divisions when the game gets its beta in August this year. Call of Duty WWII will release for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on November 3rd, 2017.
