Century: Age Of Ashes Features Dragon-Mounted Dogfighting (VIDEO)

Century: Age of Ashes

Dogfighting in the sky that can be some of the most exhilarating gameplay out there. Flying at high speeds, pulling various technical maneuvers to escape enemies or get behind others is an incredible feeling. While there are occasions where games take players from the cockpit of planes to those of spaceships, one concept that hasn’t been explored all that well is riding on the back of a dragon. Just like Daenerys Targaryen soaring through the sky burning all who stand in her way, fans will soon be able to take flight on draconic mounts and battle it out with others in a new upcoming title called Century: Age of Ashes.

The Game Awards 2020 held quite a few enticing teasers and trailers for titles that were previously announced or already revealed in some way. Century: Age of Ashes, however, made a brilliant entrance by helping kick off this year’s event. The title is being created by Playwing, LTD, and aims to be a free-to-play air-combat game that focuses on PvP action between dragon-riding knights. Players will be able to take part in 3 different game types across a variety of different fantasy-themed maps with 3 distinct classes to choose from. Unfortunately, at the moment the developers have yet to reveal what exactly these classes or game modes will look like. The title is set to arrive on Steam as an early access title in February of next year with plans to continue working on the game, adding new classes, maps, and more throughout the process.

There’s no official release date for Century: Age of Ashes but the developers mentioned that there will be at least a year of development during the early access period before they’re ready to release in full. The title is set to be available on PC through Steam with an Epic Games release arriving at a later date.
