Capcom Is Teasing A Co-op Resident Evil Game (VIDEO)
It looks like Capcom is brewing something extra special for its Resident Evil franchise that will be shown at the Tokyo Game Awards 2019. The company has revealed a teaser website with a few scant details about something titled ‘Project Resistance.’ While this on its own could mean anything, the majority of the title’s font color is an off-white, while the ‘RE’ in Resistance is colored red. The website also links to the official Resident Evil Facebook page, so I’m sure you can see where we’re going with this.

According to the website, a teaser trailer for the new game will be going live on September 9th at 10am ET, with Capcom also planning on showing off the gameplay for Project Resistance at its booth at the Tokyo Game Show. According to the website’s rules, a select few people will get to actually play the game, though they will only be able to test it out if they both received a ticket to do so and they are a resident of Japan.
Adding some fuel to the fire, some clever people pulled a few thumbnails from the teaser trailer, which is technically live because it is running with a countdown clock on it. The images can be seen here:

Now, call me crazy but this seems to look like four regular looking people teaming up to fight zombies in order to survive. Left 4 Dead, anyone? The premise itself still has some fuel in the tank, and I certainly wouldn’t put it past Capcom to pull something like this off using one of the company’s staple franchises. Thankfully we’re just two short weeks from the official reveal of Project Resistance.
