Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Giving Out Nuketown Cosmetics
Ah, Nuketown. Portraying a nuclear test site, the area has become an iconic location within the Call of Duty franchise and is beloved by many fans. There have been a few iterations of the multiplayer map over the years and soon, fans will witness the latest in a long line of renditions for the small-town landscape in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. To celebrate the launch of the new Black Ops title and the arrival of the st-called Nuketown ’84, the developers are prepared to reward players with some unique cosmetics to enjoy across Warzone and Black Ops Cold War alike.
A recent Activision blog post has revealed a new Nuketown-themed cosmetic pack, with the DLC released thank you to fans who played the game since launch as well as those who hope to join in on the fun as well. Though it is only available for a limited time, the cosmetic pack features an abundance of goodies for fans to enjoy such as 6 new weapon charms, a “Test Subject” sticker, the “Nuketown Legend” emblem, an “Omnibus” calling card, as well as a snazzy new shotgun blueprint called the “Last Stop.” The blueprint will feature a 21.6” Paratrooper Barrel, a 6 RND Tube Magazine, a Milstop Reflex Optic, and a Commando Assembly Stock, giving the weapon a faster fire rate and more damage to compliment a larger magazine size and ADS capabilities.
The post also reminds players to pick up the latest Endowment Challenger Pack, which nets two-weapon blueprints, a double EXP token, and more while being given the chance to support Veterans in the US and UK find high-quality jobs. The current pack will give players access to “The Stripe” tactical rifle and “The Standard Issue” pistol blueprints on top of various other cosmetics goodies for fans to enjoy. In addition, both the Endowment pack cosmetics and the Nuketown weapon pack will also be available to use in Call of Duty: Warzone when everything transitions to Black Ops Cold War on December 10th.
Nuketown ’84 is set to launch for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 24th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. In order to pick up the Nuketown weapon pack for themselves, players will need to log into the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War before December 4th alongside any edition specific rewards that players pick up along the way.
