Coming this November, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will grace current generation platforms. Thanks to a variety of leaks, including one thanks to Doritos, we knew the Call of Duty franchise was heading to the Cold War. The game will feature a character creator feature, share a battle pass with Warzone, and run 4K and 120Hz on the PS5 and Xbox Series X among a plethora of other next-gen capabilities. If you want to get in on the fun earlier, Activision is hosting open beta weekends in October.

Introducing their multiplayer mode above, Activision revealed action-packed gameplay with perfectly woven cinematic footage. An open beta will be available to the public, but those who choose to pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will receive access to the beta a weekend earlier than everyone else.

From October 8th to the 9th, an exclusive early access weekend will be open to PlayStation 4 players who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
