Bugsnax Creatures Turned Into Real-World Snacks By Fan (VIDEO)

Bugsnax Creatures

The PlayStation 5 has finally released, ringing in the new generation of video gaming, alongside the Xbox Series X. PS5 owners have been eager to see the capabilities of the new powerful machine, with one somewhat unexpected game to occupy players being Bugsnax. The game was developed by Young Horses, the developer behind Octodad: Dadliest Catch, which won over audiences with its quirky humor and slapstick comedy elements. The new game has been praised by critics for its cutesy food-based creatures and now one talented creator has turned the Bugsnax creatures into real-world delectable delights that look like they were pulled right out of the game.

As reported by Game Informer, food blogger and live-streamer Pixelated Provisions has shared their culinary recreations of Bugsnax creatures. The creator has been known to recreate food dishes seen in games like Skyrim and Final Fantasy on their website, so naturally, they figured the food-based beings of Bugsnax were prime for cooking in real life. Recently, Pixelated Provisions hosted a live-stream in which they recreated the Cinnasnail, a snail-like creature made of a cinnamon roll in the game. This creature seemed fairly easy to translate to real-life, as it mostly took some reshaping of cinnamon roll dough, with some added icing and googly eyes.

Pixelated Provisions also shared a recipe for the Flapjackarak on their website as well, which mostly consists of cooking several pancakes and strips of bacon, along with the absolutely required googly eyes. They even prepared a recipe for the Strabby back in July, which consists of homemade candy and meringue googly eyes being placed onto strawberries. Pixelated Provisions has done a wonderful job of bringing the Bugsnax creatures to the real world in edible form. Hopefully, their creativity does not stop here. You bet I’d love to take a bite out of a real Preying Picantis or a Sprinklepede.
