Borderlands 3 Video Recaps The Story So Far (VIDEO)

With the glory of Borderlands 3 set to finally launch later this year, Gearbox has been getting players prepared with enhanced re-releases of previous entries in the series. However, those hoping to forego a full-on playthrough can now find a quicker way to keep up with a new video series detailing “The Story So Far.”

As the Borderlands games don’t feature a particularly complex story, this inaugural video gives the first game a pretty swift rundown, covering everything from the stylish introduction of our main Vault Hunters to the eventual discovery dwelling with in the Vault itself. As an added touch, the whole trailer is narrated by the character of Marcus Kincaid, taking a break from selling “guns guns guns” to fill us in about the game that stared it all. Check it out below.

As the end of the video teases a particularly “Handsome” follow-up covering Borderlands 2, it’s likely we can expect several more installments leading up to the release of Borderlands 3. As for the game itself, there looks to be a number of changes for the long-awaited threequel, with Troy Baker confirmed to not return, the introduction of a new in-game element, and the possibility of cross-play being explored.

Borderlands 3 releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 13th. The game’s grand gameplay debut is set to happen on May 1st.
