New Borderlands 3 Video Deep-Dives Into the World of Promethea (VIDEO)
Borderlands 3 is looking to be the most expansive game in the franchise, giving players a chance to adventure across multiple different planets and environments. While Pandora is an obvious choice for places players will be going, the city-planet of Promethea has also been mentioned as one of the game’s main locales. Now a new teaser for the planet has arrived, showing off a small taste of what player might find across the metropolitan world.
A recent post to Twitter shows a small clip hyping up the Atlas controlled planet under the leadership of Rhys of Tales From the Borderlands fame. Originally alien technology on the planet was discovered by Atlas, who reverse-engineered it and used the technology to create weapons. Eventually, the planet was transformed into a massive metropolitan cityscape. When players finally set foot on the planet for themselves they’ll find that the planet has turned into an urban warzone with Maliwan, having laid siege. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of adventures await Vault Hunters as they traverse the battle-scarred cityscapes as they fight against robots with no legs, large toothy rodent/bug hybrids and much more.
Visit Promethea. Home to the Atlas corporation, this metropolitan city-planet has been brought under siege by Maliwan, turning its futuristic urban environment into a brutal warzone. #LetsMakeSomeMayhem
