Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Will Likely See The Return Of Nuketown

Black Ops 4 - Nuketown

Now that we’ve had an official look at this year’s installment into the Call of Duty franchise, fans can’t wait to get their hands on it. The massively popular Battle Royale mode will be coming to the series in the form of Blackout, with the map set to be 1,500 times bigger than Nuketown. Speaking of the tiny slice of suburbia, a recent tweet may have hinted at Black Ops 4 getting it’s own little map of carnage.

Treyarch director David Vonderhaar recently took to Twitter to respond to Adam Hoggatt, a level designer and the creator of Nuketown. Hoggatt was celebrating his 10th year at Treyarch when Vonderhaar jumped in to say this:

With each Black Ops installment having received a Nuketown or Nuk3town thus far, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the small deathmatch map make its return once more. After all, Vonderhaar makes it pretty obvious that the fan-favorite will be included in this year’s Call of Duty. Who does he think he is using ellipsis all willy-nilly like that? Someone who wants to tease fans around the globe, that’s who.

Since it has not been officially confirmed, we recommend having the appropriate amount of salt on hand. That, of course, would equate to a microscopic molecule within a singular grain, because we know Nuketown is coming to Black Ops 4. Okay, we aren’t exactly sure, but it has to, right? Only time will tell.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to arrive on October 12 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
