Beyond Good & Evil 2 Livestream Arriving This Week

Ubisoft CEO

The sequel to the cult hit Beyond Good & Evil has gone down a long road to reach the place where it is today. The title stole the spotlight at E3 last year and while the demo was impressive, it didn’t give off much in terms gameplay. Since then, things have been fairly quiet for the Beyond Good & Evil 2 with a few tidbits of gameplay here and there, and there haven’t been any official announcements on what platforms the title will be coming to. Fear not, for the Developers hope to bring players up to speed with a livestream called “the Space Monkey Report” which will hopefully give off some juicy details into what fans can expect.

Ubisoft recently took to their Twitter account to announce the coming of the new livestream which will be the second of the “Space Monkey Report” series and will arrive on May 3rd at 11AM CST. The developer hasn’t mentioned what exactly will be talked about during the event, but it’s sure to be a treat.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is the long awaited follow up to Michael Ancil’s cult classic from 2003 which followed a journalist who works with a resistance in order to uncover an alien conspiracy in a strange universe filled with anthropomorphic animals and humans alike. The second title will be a prequel to the events of the first game set before the birth of “Jade,” the first title’s main protagonist and will take place in a new solar system.

There still isn’t any release date for the title but perhaps the developers will announce one during the livestream or even during the upcoming E3. Is there anything you’d like to see in particular concerning the title? Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Beyond Good & Evil 2 livestream and more in the comments section below.
