Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Here’s How To Recruit Bayek From ‘Origins’
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has proven to be a massive success ever since its release earlier this month, dispelling fan concerns that Ubisoft would be “missing a step” after the relatively recent release of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Thankfully that wasn’t the case, due in no small part to the fact that Odyssey was in development while Origins was also being worked on. Now, Ubisoft is celebrating its two smash hit titles by officially bringing ‘Origins’ star Bayek to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Ubisoft made the announcement via Twitter, revealing that Bayek can be recruited as a lieutenant for the Adrestia in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. There is, however, a bit of a catch. Considered to be a legendary lieutenant, Bayek can only be acquired through the Ubisoft Club for a sum of 40 points. Players need only visit the Ubisoft Club, log in (or register), and then use the 40 points acquired from certain tasks within Odyssey (or other Ubisoft games) to recruit Bayek for the Adrestia. The tweet below contains a link to Ubisoft Club:

Bayek joins Evie Frye from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, though unlocking her is a bit different from unlocking Bayek. While Evie is also unlockable through the Ubisoft Club, she is actually free to recruit…provided you’ve played other Assassin’s Creed games. Players must have acquired the Master Assassin badge, the prerequisite of which is having acquired 7,500 XP from across the entire series. This shouldn’t be too difficult to do, especially since XP garnered from Odyssey also counts towards the total.
Ubisoft has previously stated that other AC characters will also be available for recruitment at some point in the future. Here’s hoping the list of upcoming characters contains Ezio, Altair, or perhaps one of the more recent stars, such as Edward Kenway, or his grandson, Connor.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
