Among Us Devs Show Off The Airship Map's Mischievious Moving Platform (VIDEO)

Among Us players know that around any corner – or in any vent – could be their untimely demise at the hands of an alien impersonating another crewmate. Now, developer Innersloth is looking to mix things up a bit by introducing a new object of potential betrayal: the moving platform.

The Among Us developer recently took to Twitter to show off a quick sneak peek at the game’s upcoming Airship map, which is a delightful nod at the studio’s Henry Stickman games. Running in at a brief 7 seconds long, the clip shows the player (named Henry, of course) taking a moving platform across the Gap Room, only to come back later to find that the platform is on the other side of the room and as such is inaccessible. Truly a betrayal of the highest order. Check it out below:

Naturally the Epic Games Store Twitter felt inclined to chime in with an immensely diabolical suggestion, something that the Among Us Twitter seemed to appreciate. These game developers are out for our blood, folks.

We’ve yet to learn when the Airship map will be releasing, though Innersloth promises that it’s coming early 2021. Chances are it won’t be long until we get an official release date. In the meantime, be sure to watch out for those crafty moving platforms.

Among Us is available for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android & iOS devices. The game is also coming to Xbox consoles this year.
