Netflix’s The Witcher: Artist Tweaks Henry Cavill’s Geralt Debut
After the release of the live-action adaptation of The Witcher, fans of the franchise are ramping themselves up with excitement or dampening their gears. As we say ta-ta to the month of October, Netflix revealed a brand new teaser for the upcoming show. Though it has yet to announce an official release date, fans get a first look at Henry Cavill in costume as Geralt of Rivia.
There’s certainly some mixed responses on Cavill’s debut as Geralt as some ridiculed the lack of scruff and battle wounds on his face, one artist took it upon himself to make it right. Known for his previous artist renditions of live-action casts for Netflix’s The Witcher, Bosslogic tweaked the Cavill’s features just a tad to fit the theme. Check out his work below:
As seen in the teaser released on Halloween, it’s may very well lack the presence some imagined for a live-action Geralt. With that in mind, it was only a 20 second debut. Who knows, perhaps once the series continues further along in development, there will be a few adjustments to Cavill’s overall look as the golden-eyed adventurer.
