Anthem Demo Release Date Revealed
BioWare has a massive project cooking at the moment in Anthem. The sprawling RPG is one that presents endless promise following recent showcases of story campaign, character customization, as well as the studio’s focus toward a fulfilling online multiplayer. PAX West 2018 has been home to many of these new reveals, but the developer also left one more tidbit unveiling the release date for the game’s upcoming demo/beta.
Having teased it in the past, the Anthem demo is now set for launch on February 1st, 2019. Arriving as an incentive for pre-ordering or joining EA Origin Access Premier, the beta will go live for all available platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This places it three weeks before the full game’s launch, providing plenty of time for players to familiarize themselves before properly starting BioWare’s new IP.

Outside the above information, little else is known about the demo or what the playable taste could entail. A safe bet would be an experience similar to what we saw at this past E3, where players are treated to a glorious glide around with their Javelin mechs and encounter a few members of the game’s hostile local wildlife. More details are sure to be revealed as Anthem’s February 22nd release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One draws closer.
