Elden Ring Photo Mode Mod Released
The big new video game that has dominated discourse in gaming circles the past few weeks has been Elden Ring. The latest title by Elden Ring has not only given the opportunity for gamers to share stories of their gameplay accomplishments, but also their individual experiences with the game’s gorgeous new fantasy world. Many games these days include photo modes that allow fans to share the complex beautiful worlds that inhabit these games on social media. However, Elden Ring has lacked a proper photo mode thus far. Thankfully, one fan has released their custom Elden Ring photo mode mod.
Modder Otis_Inf has released their Elden Ring photo mode mod on their official Patreon page. So far, Elden Ring only allows for photos to be taken using the Telescope item, and only if the UI is removed for the duration of use. This new mod though allows players to truly take photos like the photo modes in other games allow. With the mod, players can adjust the camera and even walk freely throughout the game’s map without attracting the attention of enemies that could ruin the photos. The FOV and UI can also be adjusted to get out of the way of photos, and the game can even be paused through the mod.
It should be noted that the Elden Ring photo mode mod has some caveats. The mod only works offline, so players will not be able to communicate with other players while in photo mode. The mod also requires some file transfers before and after adding the photo mode mod that helps work around the Anti-Cheat software located within the game. Otis_Inf has made the mod available for free until March 10th, so players should act quickly to begin their Elden Ring photography adventures.
