Aragorn Visits Elden Ring In New Lord of The Rings Fan Video

Aragorn LOTR

As video game technology has evolved, so too have the capabilities of talented fans who look to celebrate their favorite gaming series. One such newcomer to the gaming scene that has captivated fans has been Elden Ring, which has breathed new life into the tried-and-true Souls-like formula. One talented fan that has taken to expressing their fandom has been eli_handle_b.wav, who previously used their video editing skills to put Austin Powers in the Mass Effect universe. Now, eli has taken to the internet again, this time to put Lord of the Rings’ Aragorn into the world of Elden Ring.

eli_handle_b.wav updated their official YouTube channel with a new LOTR fan video. From the start, the edit sets up many creative ways in which footage of Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films can fit perfectly in the fantasy world of Elden Ring. To begin, Aragorn is woken up by his horse Brego, much like Elden Ring players are woken up by their noble steeds after the tutorial battle with the Grafted Scion. He is then seen interacting with other iconic Elden Ring elements, such as his gaze in awe at the Erdtree, or his quick combat encounter with a Tree Sentinel. After reading a player’s message warning “Be Wary of Death”, Aragorn responds with his iconic delivery of “I do not fear death.”

Aragorn is then seen heading into battle with Margit, accompanied by a pair of Skeletal Militiamen Ashes as his allies. He is subsequently accompanied in battle by NPCs like Lionel The Lionhearted and Iron Fist Alexander against General Radahn. The video ends with the heir of Isildur taking a new throne as an Elden Lord. This video quite cleverly finds ways that the Lord of the Rings character could fit well into the Elden Ring world, showing that while one may not simply walk into Mordor, it is rather easier to walk into the Lands Between.
