One of Dragon Age’s most beloved characters, Fenris, is officially making his way back to the comic book medium. Last seen in the Dark Horse Blue Wraith comic series, our mage-hunter-turned-heartthrob is taking on a new adventure in the newly announced Dark Fortress comic series by BioWare and Dark Horse Comics.

As revealed in a first look from Gameinformer, Dark Fortress is the latest comic series collaboration between BioWare and Dark Horse. For this adventure, Fenris will be joined by agents of the Inquisition to assault what is said to be an impenetrable fortress in a bid to, once again, save Thedas. Not much else is currently known about the new comic series, though the newly revealed cover art by Sachin Teng paints a picture of dark times to come. Check it out below:

The new comic brings together Nunzio DeFilippis, Fernando Heinz Furukawa, Michael Atiyeh, and Christina Weir to tell the brand new Dragon Age story.  We can only hope that Fenris voice actor Gideon Emery is willing to narrate some choice bits and pieces of his character’s dialog, as it certainly went over quite well last time. The first issue of the Dragon Age Dark Fortress comic series is slated to release on March 31, 2021.
