The Witcher Netflix Anime ‘Nightmare Of The Wolf’ Logo Revealed (VIDEO)
Toss a coin to your adoptive Witcher dad, because Netflix’s upcoming anime spin-off to The Witcher series, Nightmare of the Wolf, just revealed its official logo. Announced earlier this year, Nightmare of the Wolf is helmed by Lauren S. Hissrich and writer Beau DeMayo and developed by Studio Mir, the folks that helped create The Legend of Korra. The anime will follow the Witcher Vesemir on a journey that takes place before he begins mentoring Geralt, something we’ll likely see first-hand in the upcoming second season of the series.
Netflix took to Twitter earlier today to reveal the official logo for Nightmare of the Wolf. As one would expect the logo is in fact a rather scary-looking wolf, with the accompanying video playing an assortment of sounds that includes a crackling fire, the sound of wind, and the tolling of bells. Check it out below:

Here’s Netflix’s official description of the anime: “Long before mentoring Geralt, Vesemir begins his own journey as a witcher after the mysterious Deglan claims him through the Law of Surprise.” There is currently no release date for the film, though it will likely arrive at some point next year, potentially close to the release of The Witcher season 2.
