The Witcher Animated Film Will Follow Vesemir
Following the release of the highly anticipated live-action series based on The Witcher, it was revealed that an animated film is also on the way from the creators of the show. That said, the latest details point to the upcoming film being all about Vesemir.
Netflix recently dropped a short synopsis about The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, and by the looks of it, Vesemir will be the focus of the film. “Long before mentoring Geralt, Vesemir begins his own journey as a Witcher after the mysterious Deglan claims him through the Law of Surprise,” reads the synopsis for the Netflix film.
Not much else is known about the inbound animated The Witcher film, but we at least know that it will be about Vesemir, who did not make an appearance in the first season of the show. Fans have recently taken to the Internet to let the everyone know that Mark Hamill would be a perfect choice for the character, with Hamill himself expressing interest. Since Vesemir wasn’t in season 1, there is a possibility of the actor who voices Geralt’s mentor could also portray him in the live-action show. Unfortunately, we will just have to wait to find out.
