Gotham Knights Gameplay Revealed In New Trailer (VIDEO)
Following all of the leaks, rumors, hints, and teasers, fans were finally treated to a reveal trailer for Gotham Knights, the next title from WB Games Montreal. That said, it is now time to take a look at some gameplay from the upcoming Batman-less game.
That’s right, Batman won’t be the main protagonist in the upcoming Gotham Knights. Spoiler alert: he’s dead. It is now time for Batgirl, Red Hood, Robin, and Nightwing to take up the role of Gotham’s saviors and become the heroes the city needs. Thankfully, WB Games also included a gameplay video in their DC FanDome showcase, which can be seen below.
As one would assume, the upcoming Gotham Knights will be able to be played with friends. After all, there are four heroes taking to the spotlight and controlling all four of them would be a bit awkward. In fact, it will be online two-player co-op, with each player choosing one of the heroes to take on all of the baddies in Gotham.
That said, the video above shows off Batgirl and Robin as they face off against the one and only Mr. Freeze, which is only one of the several villains featured in the game. We get a look at a lot of the weapons and abilities that will be available for Gotham Knights players, and they are looking rather great so far, especially for those looking to dispatch the bad guys. Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see how everything plays out when the game launches next year.
Gotham Knights is currently in development with an expected launch set for 2021. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
