Black Myth: Wukong Revealed With Incredible Gameplay Footage (VIDEO)

Black Myth Wukong Game Science Gameplay

With the next generation of gaming consoles around the corner, gamers everywhere are looking forward to seeing what developers are able to do with all of the power that comes with them. That said, Chinese developer Game Science has revealed footage from their upcoming action-adventure game, Black Myth: Wukong, and it is absolutely stunning.

Seemingly out of nowhere, gameplay from Black Myth: Wukong began to make the rounds on the Internet. While the footage itself is from pre-alpha, there is no denying that it is one of the best things we’ve seen to date. The next-gen-looking graphics look even more next-gen than a lot of the next-gen stuff we’ve already seen. Needless to say, it is beyond breathtaking. Check it out for yourself:

Following the rapid attention the gameplay trailer saw, Game Science founder Feng Ji took to Weibo (via ResetEra) to express gratitude for those who have watched the Black Myth trailer. He noted how the purpose of releasing the video was to expand their team and recruit more people. He also admits the faults in the video, including audio, framerate, etc., which are to be expected given that it is pre-alpha footage.

Fi also asks that everyone please forget the footage above. This is due to them believing it is not their best work, and that better gameplay is to come. Speaking of which, they will now retreat to the shadows to continue working on Black Myth: Wukong, says Fi.

Black Myth: Wukong is currently in development for unspecified platforms, and it will be released when it is ready. Judging by the looks of it, it’s going to be quite some time, and that is totally fine because that gameplay is incredible.
