Valorant ‘Ignition: Act 1’ Battle Pass Details Revealed
With Valorant having officially released, Riot Games has launched the free-to-play game’s first ever battle pass. Titled Ignition: Act 1, the pass is split up into free and premium lanes, with premium available for purchase for 1000 Valorant Points, or $10.
The pass itself has loads of cosmetic goodies, with 12 gun skins and one knife skin headlining the content. One of the spicier pass additions is the inclusion of 130 Radianite Points, currency that is used to level up certain weapon skins to give it different visual effects, animations, and skin color variants. The weapon skins are split up into three different categories: DOT EXE, which gives it a nice Tron vibe: KINGDOM, featuring a black and yellow color scheme with nice lines: and COUTURE, which has white and gold with patterns.
As with most battle passes nowadays, the Valorant Ignition: Act 1 pass will still bank experience points even if players don’t opt-in for the premium line. That way, if they decide they’ve leveled up enough for it to be worth it, they can then choose to purchase the pass. Riot has yet to announce how long the pass will run for, though once an end date has been announced, it has been confirmed that players can choose to spend Valorant points to earn levels instead of experience points, should they choose to.
Valorant is now free-to-play on PC.
