Castlevania Season 4 Officially Confirmed By Netflix
Following a massively successful third season, Netflix has officially announced that its Castlevania series will be returning for Season 4. The show’s third season debuted via the streaming service earlier this month to much critical acclaim, building off what happened in prior seasons while also branching into several different plot lines that followed Alucard, Trevor and Sypha, and Dracula’s former subordinates.
Netflix took to its Twitter today to make the announcement via a rather cheeky message, asking viewers to clap their hands in the comments in order to see the Castlevania news that “Sir Mirror” has prepared for them. Just a short few minutes later, Netflix announced via a brief clip that Season 4 is officially on its way.

It’ll be interesting to see what’s planned for the upcoming season. Without giving anything away, the show sets up some major potential turning points for several of the characters, and the payoffs could be huge or immensely damning depending on how things turn out. Here’s the breakdown of how the series kicks off, for those interested:
“Inspired by the popular video game series, this anime series is a dark medieval fantasy. It follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, Trevor Belmont, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hands of Vlad Dracula Tepes. As Dracula and his legion of vampires prepare to rid the world of humanity’s stain, Belmont is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save mankind from the grief-maddened Dracula.”
Season 4 of Castlevania is expected to air at some point next year.
