Overwatch 2 Reveal Rumored For BlizzCon 2019
It has been nearly three and a half years since Blizzard Entertainment released their first FPS, which has since gone on to become a massive success, spawning its own esports league and creating millions of fans worldwide. That said, with BlizzCon 2019 just around the corner, rumors have begun circulating that we might be seeing an Overwatch 2 reveal.
In a recent string of tweets from Metro_OW on Twitter, they claim that a source has told them that Overwatch 2 is an actual thing and it will be revealed at BlizzCon 2019. According to them, the title will feature both PvE and PvP elements, have a leveling system that affects how players handle their heroes, and more. They also provide a description of the cinematic short that will be shown, which can be found below:
The cinematic will feature alot of heroes, main ones being mei, tracer and winston with young genji appearing. Overwatch logo will appear, then the 2 is gonna be added at the very end. Crowd goes wild, Jeff gets on stage. (dont actually know about when Jeff will show up)

While this is a rumor at this point, it is worth pointing out that Metro’s source is the same one who provided all of the Ashe details prior to last year’s BlizzCon. So, will we be seeing Overwatch 2 revealed in a couple weeks? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, Overwatch is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
