DOOM: Annihilation Movie Release Date Revealed Alongside New Box Art
The seemingly ill-fated DOOM: Annihilation movie has received its official release date. Announced earlier this year to almost entirely negative reactions, the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment straight-to-blu-ray movie adaptation will be hitting store shelves on October 1st, just in time for the season of the witch. The distributor made the announcement alongside a brief teaser clip, which can be seen below:

Here’s the official breakdown of the film courtesy of Universal, followed by the official box art:
“On the darkest moon of Mars, scientists have found an ancient portal which allows teleportation throughout the universe. Considered to be mankind’s greatest discovery, it’s actually a gateway from hell, unleashing a swarm of demons looking to steal the souls of everyone who gets in their way. It’s up to Lieutenant Joan Dark and an elite unit of Marines to destroy an ever-growing horde of bloodsucking and soul-stealing beasts and prevent them from taking over planet earth.”
Written and directed by Tony Giglio (S.W.A.T.: Under Siege), DOOM: Annihilation stars Amy Manson, Dominic Mafham, Luke Allen-Gale and Nina Bergman. The new movie is slated to release on October 1st, 2019.
