The alien craze is sweeping the Internet as if we were back in the 90’s, with hundreds of thousands of people “planning” to storm the secretive military base Area 51, where many believe the government is hiding aliens. Of course, the year is 2019, which means the memes are flowing like a mighty river, and it looks like Mortal Kombat 11 fans are jumping in on the action in a very hilarious way.

As can be seen in the video below from Reddit user PixelArtAddicted, a scene from Mortal Kombat 11 that involves storming a base is used to turn the Area 51 meme into pure hilarious gold. We can see appearances from civilian troops such as “500k insane meme lords,” “Weebs and 9 year olds,” “Rabid fans looking for Mileena DLC,” and “The one guy wanting Mokap for DLC.”

It should go without saying that storming Area 51 is probably not the brightest idea to pop up in recent memory, but it sure has provided millions with entertainment. Now, if the likes of any of the Mortal Kombat 11 characters existed in our realm, we might have a fighting chance. Then again, what if it is them who are being held in Area 51?
