Contra Rogue Corps Announced, Contra Anniversary Collection Confirmed For Switch (VIDEO)

Today’s been a pretty incredible day if you’re a Contra fan. During the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, the Big N revealed Contra Rogue Corps, a new Contra game coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. It looks…well, it looks like a PlayStation 2 game, but that’s the appeal, right? Right? Anyways, Contra Rogue Corps is being touted as an “over the top run and gun game with fast paced ultra-violent content,” and will feature both single and multiplayer options. Speaking of, the game will apparently be playing for up to 8 players, so make sure to bring along your entire slew of friends. Check out the reveal trailer below:

If that’s not enough, Nintendo also announced that the Contra Anniversary Collection, which was revealed late last month, is now available for the Nintendo Switch for $19.99. Officially releasing today, the collection of games features a mixture of Arcade, NES, and Famicom versions of Contra, so there’s a little something for everyone here. • Contra (NES)
  • Contra (Famicom)
  • Super Contra (Arcade)
  • Super C (NES)
