Panzer Dragoon Remake Gameplay Revealed (VIDEO)

Panzer Dragoon

Forever Entertainment announced last year that they would be developing remakes for the classic rail shooters Panzer Dragoon and its sequel, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei. The two were scheduled for a release sometime this year, however, fans will have to suffice with just the first of the two.

The Nintendo presentation at E3 this year revealed the first glimpse of gameplay for the first Panzer Dragoon, showing off some crisp and colorful visuals while still seeming to capture the amazing feeling of flying on a massive dragon in combat against many foes. On top of seeing some vastly improved scenery, the game will also update the gameplay mechanics of the title as well, specifically in regards to the controls that players will be utilizing.

The first Panzer Dragoon saw players take control of a character by the name of Keil Fluge, a hunter who finds himself observing a battle between two dragons and the rider. However, when one of the riders falls, Fluge takes on the responsibility of stopping the “Dark Dragon” himself while flying on his blue dragon and wielding the power of ancient technology created by a highly advanced civilization. Are you ready to take part in this fascinating world once more?

The Panzer Dragoon remake is set to arrive this winter for the Nintendo Switch, but a finalized release date was not given.
