Chivalry 2 Gameplay Trailer Revealed At E3 2019 (VIDEO)

Morddau was released to players earlier this year bringing multiplayer hack and slash action to PC players, however, Triternion isn’t the only developers out there making intense medieval warfare for players to experience. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was released back in 2012 by Torn Banner Studios, bringing exciting and glorious medieval combat ranging from weapons like swords, maces, axes, to even bows. Now it seems that Chivalry 2, a sequel to Medieval Warfare, is on its way to bring first-person melee combat to a whole new level.

At the PC Gaming show during this year’s E3, an announcement was made for the title including a new trailer. A wide variety of new gameplay mechanics and features will be implemented in the upcoming sequel. The first title in the series saw some servers with increased player counts, however, the standard for Chivalry 2 will be 64 players in a match. The developers’ pride and joy seems to lie in the addition of horses and the ability for players to use mounted combat.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much to go on yet to see just how exactly the game hopes to improve on its predecessor aside from the increased player counts and horses. There’s still plenty of time to find out though as the game is set to launch in 2020. Sadly no specific release date was mentioned, but the title has been confirmed as an Epic Games timed exclusive while other PC platforms will receive the game a full year after its debut.
