Xbox E3 2020 Showcase Confirmed By Phil Spencer
For the past few years, Microsoft has been providing a fine showcase for Electronic Entertainment Expo, with last year’s event showing fans a ton of news on fresh IPs, as well as titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite, and more. As Sony has once again bowed out of this June’s entry, Microsoft appears to be aiming for another strong appearance as an Xbox showcase has now confirmed for E3 2020.
Xbox head Phil Spencer took some time to confirm the upcoming showcase over Twitter, also teasing the plans that Microsoft has planned for its presence. According to his Tweet, Microsoft and Xbox are hard at work preparing a showcase of all the incredible things the company has to offer, declaring 2020 as a milestone year in the company’s journeyed growth in “creativity and technical progress”.
Our team is hard at work on E3, we look forward to sharing with all who love to play what’s ahead for us. Our artform has consistently been propelled by the cross-section of creativity and technical progress. 2020 is a milestone year in that journey for Team Xbox. #XboxE3 #E32020

With Microsoft’s recent next-gen reveal of the Xbox Series X, there’s sure to be a deep dive into the specs of the platform as well as what fans can expect in terms of launch titles. 2019’s showing stated that fans wouldn’t be seeing any news on Halo Infinite until at least this year, so it’s possible that the team might have something to show for E3 2020 such as a new look at gameplay, a potential release date, or even details about a special edition.
