World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Features Detailed In New Trailer (VIDEO)

After several prominent leaks, Shadowlands has been officially confirmed at BlizzCon 2019 to be the next big expansion for World of Warcraft. In the new add-on, players are set to journey through the titular realm with a bountiful array of new content to feast their eyes upon–quite a few of which have been divulged in an all-new overview video.

In the new trailer, several prominent areas from the Shadowlands will be resurfacing in Azeroth, a total of four new zones confirmed to be coming to WoW: the gothic gargoyle-laden Revendreth, the neon woodland Ardenweald, the spider-infested Maldraxxus, and the heavenly kingdom of Bastion. The video also confirms new dungeons and raids for the expansion, touting the Tower of the Damned, and teasing an overarching evil dwelling within the Shadowlands. In it, you will be able to explore the realm of the dead, pledge yourself to a covenant and shape your destiny, take on the boundless challenge of Torghast, Tower of the Damned, and journey through a new leveling experience.”

BlizzCon has been a nice source of announcements for the 2019 proceedings, the event focusing on the Blizzard’s most prominent franchises. Outside the realm of Warcraft, Diablo IV was finally confirmed to be happening, the announcement arriving alongside a look at gameplay. Overwatch 2 was also confirmed, introducing a fresh new cinematic and showing off the the content the sequel has to offer. Of course, there was also confirmation of a new addition to Hearthstone–the new Autobattle Mode.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is set to release sometime in 2020.
