When and How to Play The Division 2 Open Beta (VIDEO)
Though the closed beta has come and gone, players who want to try out the Division 2 for themselves will have another chance very soon. The open beta is almost here to give fans another chance to experience a taste of what the game has to offer when it fully releases next month.
A new post on the Ubisoft blog shows off all the various changes players will find when the open beta launches at the beginning of March. Agents will be able to play a little bit more than what was offered through the closed beta such as an additional main mission, 5 side missions, a dark zone, and of course access to a portion of the open world. Players will be able to also get a taste of the PvP aspect of the game with a Skirmish mode as well as some endgame content featuring 3 specializations for level 30 characters and introducing a new enemy faction called the Black Tusk.
Lastly Agents will gain access to another gadget called the Chem Launcher, a device that uses riot foam and explosive vapor to great effect.
Pre-loading the game will begin on February 28th while the open beta itself begins on March 1st at 1AM PST. Players will be have access to the open beta through March 5th at 1AM PST, giving a decent amount of time to try out a bit more of The Division 2 before launch.
