SEGA and Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer II Adds a New Race (VIDEO)

A highly requested new race has been added to SEGA and Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer II. Joining the roster of Dark Elves, High Elves, and Lizardmen will be the bloodthirsty Skaven. Of course, there will be the availability of the Norscan race as a bonus if players so choose to pre-order the game. It is the Skaven’s hope to destroy other races while attempting to maintain the balance in their own society, and that means bringing in all sorts of contraptions and abominations to the playing field including the Doom Wheel, Rat Ogres, Plague Priests,Warpfire Throwers and so much more. It’s complete and total mayhem. Kill them all, yes-yes. Check out the introduction trailer for the Skaven below to witness the impending doom yourself:

Bursting forth from their foetid under-hives, the Skaven have revealed themselves as the fourth playable Race in Total War: WARHAMMER II. Their motives obscured, the devious Skaven are a highly numerous species who inhabit vast subterranean lairs. Now, their time of prophecy is upon us, and this verminous Race have emerged to spread pestilence and mayhem across the face of the New World.”

One of the most fascinating and interesting aspects of introducing the Skaven to Total War: Warhammer II is the unique play style their role will offer, especially with their overwhelming numbers and relentless assault with weapons and gadgets. So, what do you think of adding Skaven as the fourth race?
