New Trailer for World of Warcraft’s Huge 7.2 Update “The Tomb of Sargeras” (VIDEO)
At last year’s BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment announced that a new, and quite substantial, patch dubbed Update 7.2 would be hitting their incredibly popular MMO (massive multiplayer online), World of Warcraft (WoW) this year. With only a few days left before the release of the massive update, Blizzard has released a cinematic trailer for the patch, which has been titled The Tomb of Sargeras. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!
The Tomb of Sargeras will bring the Horde and Alliance their sweet, sweet revenge after their demise in the opening sequence of WoW’s latest expansion, Legion. The battle featured in Legion’s intro takes place on the Broken Shore, which players will now be able to access with the update. Both factions have the opportunity to take the fight to Sargeras’ Tomb with the amassed Pillars of Creation, and fend off the Legion to reclaim Azeroth. However, the actual raid, The Tomb of Sargeras, will not be open for another few weeks. So you’ll have to wait to get your full revenge on Kil’Jaeden. Check out the trailer below:
Other than the major story elements, a ton of new content is head to the MMO in the update. Not only will players be able to visit the Broken Shore, but will be able to construct buildings that will provide area buffs for the new zone. WoW fans will also be able to try their hands at the new dungeon, Cathedral of Eternal Light, which should prove to be quite the challenge as it will increase the difficulty of Mythic dungeons. Players can look forward to tons of new gear as well as flying mounts to glide over the Broken Isles with. Some adjustments to various classes will take effect, as well as a new PvP Brawl Mode that should add some more excitement to the ever-growing World of Warcraft universe.
The update goes live on March 28. Are you WoW fans ready for the latest update? What did you think of the trailer for The Tomb of Sargeras? Alliance or Horde?
