Walking Dead Collection – Final Season Details Revealed (VIDEO)

Telltale GamesThe Walking Dead series is arguably the developer’s most popular project to date, giving players an intense and heartbreaking experience that mirrors both the TV show and comics. So far, the series has grown to include three seasons, the 400 Days side story, and a miniseries following the sword-sporting character of Michonne. With a final season on the horizon, Telltale has announced The Walking Dead Collection, a compilation of all of their undead adventures released this far.

The Walking Dead Collection seems like a good way for franchise newbies to get caught up, as it gathers all 19 episodes in one place for the first time. The collection may appeal to previous players as well, having been visually enhanced to provide the best-looking version of the games yet. Since each adventure also carries in-game choices across multiple titles, the single-package presentation only adds to the convenience factor.

Series regular Clementine is set to return as the main protagonist in the upcoming fourth and final season, following her role as a side-character in A New Frontier. This coincides with writer Garry Whitta’s return to the development team as a story consultant. Whitta was previously responsible for the game’s acclaimed first season, as well as contributions to the films Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Book of Eli.

Telltale’s The Walking Dead Collection will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 5 in both digital and physical formats. Season Four is slated for release sometime in 2018.
