A news break from The Hashtag Show (THS) has revealed new information for the upcoming Spider-Man Homecoming spin-off Venom, which includes a new character and costume reveal. With the coming tale of Eddie Brock’s allegiance with the Symbiote, new details of the story has revealed that Ann Weying, the main character’s ex-wife, will also be included in the Venom film’s plot. Check out the exclusive video by THS below:

For those who remember the character from the comics, Ann Weying is also known as She-Venom after bonding with the Symbiote after an attempt on her life by Sin-Eater. So far, the reveal only states that the character will be involved in the Venom film, though no statement has been given by Sony or THS whether or not she will become She-Venom. Even still, having a chance to see the character on screen opposite her ex-husband (played by Tom Hardy) is an exciting feat, even if the movie only delves into the beginning of her tie-in to the superhero verse.

In other news, The Hashtag Show has also stated that fans shouldn’t expect to see Earth 616’s incarnation of Venom in the movie. Instead, it is expected that the Venom suit will be taken directly from the pages of Ultimate Spider-Man. While it has been confirmed that Spidey will not be involved in the Venom movie, it’s still a nice nod to the character in the Ultimate Spider-Man verse since both suits were created by Peter Parker and Eddie Brock’s fathers.
