PlatinumGames’ Vanquish PC Port Will be Arriving This Month (VIDEO)
It appears that Sega and PlatinumGames aren’t done with bringing fan favorite games of yesteryear to PC. Some of you may already know that the beloved Bayonetta was brought to Steam back in April after having first been released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010. With the praise from fans that the long-awaited PC port of the hack and slash title had finally come to fruition, it would seem that PlatinumGames’ is about to do the same with another one of their popular games from that time. Vanquish, the third-person shooter from 2010, will also be coming to PC, and it’s arriving this month.
After being teased on Twitter earlier this week, the title is set to hit Steam on May 25. The Shinji Mikami-directed Vanquish will come with a myriad of graphical options, ensuring fans get the best experience they can, and it will include all of the DLC. Players will be able to slide boost their way to victory with “Fully unlocked framerate and gorgeous HD resolutions up to 4K.” Check out all of the glorious action in the announcement trailer below:
When Vanquish arrives on Steam, it will set gamers back $19.99. It can also be pre-ordered right now for the same price. However, those who have already purchased the Bayonetta PC port will receive a 25% discount on the title, which is a pretty sweet deal. Of course, all of this should make everyone wonder what is in store for the future. Even though it is a Wii exclusive, maybe MadWorld could be making its way to PC. In any case, be sure to stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers for more info on upcoming ports.
What say you, gamers? Excited to see the trend of PlatinumGames’ titles finding a home on PC? Can’t wait to get your hands on Vanquish? How many of you have been playing the Bayonetta port?
