This Valheim VR Mod Is In Beta And It Looks Glorious (VIDEO)
Valheim has become the latest and greatest playground for modders, offering players a massive world to get lost in and bring their own additions to the experience. That said, one of the more recent mods to pop up happens to be in the realm of VR, giving those who use the mod an opportunity to play the game in an entirely new way.
The VR mod for Valheim, aptly named VHVR, was created by Brandon Mousseau and uploaded to NexusMods by manicmoose99. The experimental mod utilizes OpenVR and SteamVR Unity integration, with players having to download the BepInExPack Valheim mod framework in order to make sure everything is operational. You can check out the mod in action in the video from YouTube user Brian Tate below, which shows off a bit of gameplay in virtual reality.
It is important to note that this Valheim mod does not currently support any mod manager installation, with the developer looking into what it takes to support Vortex. Unfortunately, motion controls are not supported at this time, but the creator has noted that it is something that is being worked on. Either way, we’ll see how the beta progresses and how players enjoy taking to the world of Valheim in VR.
