The New Ghost Recon: Wildlands PvP Mode is Receiving an Open Beta Soon (VIDEO)

The Ghost Recon: Wildlands PvP mode has been known about since before the game’s release on March 7. However, until very recently, it has only really been just a concept that will be brought to fruition in the future. Well, the future is now. Ubisoft has just released the first trailer for the upcoming Wildlands PvP mode, Ghost War, and it looks to bring the gritty tactical awesomeness of the campaign and combine it with a 4v4 deathmatch setting. In the video, we also learn that an open beta for the upcoming mode is planned to arrive sometime “later in the summer”.

Of course, that is as specific of a release date for the open beta that was disclosed. The free update that contains the Wildlands PvP mode is set to arrive at some point this fall. All platforms are expected to receive the beta, so go ahead and check out the video below to see a little more on what Ghost War is all about:

As stated above, the Wildlands PvP mode will be a 4v4 deathmatch, and it is sure to put everything you’ve learned in the campaign to the test. The maps will be large and the weather conditions will be changing at the drop of a hat. Players will be able to choose from six different classes to find the one that best fits both their play style and what will lead to success. Needless to say, things are going to get intense one the battlefield in Ghost War.
