Ubisoft’s Roller Champions Leaks Ahead of E3 2019, Perfect for Rocket League Fans (VIDEO)

Roller Champions

Rocket League may be a fairly simple concept but still, it has gained quite a large fanbase for its unique gameplay and fast-paced action. It appears that Ubisoft is looking to do something similar, with their very own take on roller derby with a twist called Roller Champions. A new leak has arrived showing off a quick peek at roller rinks and the surrounding area as well as a few details as to what players can expect to see in the game.

Roller Derby is a contact sport played worldwide that sees two teams racing around a track as one member of each team tries to gain points by tapping opponents. In Roller Champions however it appears that Ubisoft will alter this formula to make it compatible with a ball sport of some kind as well. Players will have access to a wide variety of offensive and defensive abilities such as shooting the ball, passing it to another player, tackling, dodging, and even jumping. How these actions will come into play remains to be seen, but it does as though it’ll make for a fun experience.

According to the leak, the game will feature different ways to play the game outside of standard quick play such as ranked play, custom matches, and tournaments. There are also two different options for the players’ aiming mode that will help players alter the X and Y axis sensitivity as well as multiple sound options and streamer mode. As with most pure multiplayer titles, Roller Champions will be an online-only experience.

There’s been no official confirmation of the leak yet, but with E3 just around the corner, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the developers make an announcement for Roller Champions soon.
