Titanfall 3 Not Ruled Out By Respawn – “The Very Core Of Our DNA”

Titanfall 3

Titanfall 2 was the last time fans experienced the mech robot combat meets incredible acrobatic action title. Even after four years, the game has brought fans quite a lot of joy, giving players ways to traverse at insane speeds across each map and duke it out against opponents. Now as the focus of Respawn Entertainment appears to be set on other projects like Apex Legends, it seems the developers haven’t forgotten the series, and a new Tweet has arrived hinting at the possibility of seeing a Titanfall 3 release someday.

The developers at Respawn made it clear that they didn’t have a Titanfall 3 in the works, putting a damper on the hearts of fans. This was reiterated this month during a recent livestream where the Respawn Entertainment Community Coordinator Jason Garza, stated, once more, that there is currently nothing planned for the future of the Titanfall franchise, especially as so many other games are on Respawn’s plate. Addressing the likelihood of Titanfall 3, Garza said:

“Don’t get your hopes up, man. I’ve said this before. We don’t have anything in the works. There’s nothing. There’s nothing there. We’ve got too many other games in the works right now.”

Still, a Tweet has arrived to ease the disappointment of fans, hinting at the possibility of the franchise being returned to in the future. According to the post, Titanfall as a franchise is part of “the very core” DNA for the studio, indicating that the team would enjoy a return to the series at some point. How the developers plan to do this, let alone when fans will ever get a Titanfall 3, remains to be seen. However, it’s at the very least good to know that the developers haven’t tossed the franchise by the wayside.

In the case of the Titanfall franchise, it seems as though patience is going to be key.
