Terry Crews Gets Down on Some World of Warcraft-inspired Dungeons & Dragons (VIDEO)
World of Warcraft’s Horde and Alliance will continue to duke it out against each other when the upcoming Battle for Azeroth expansion hits the shelves. In celebration of the upcoming release, Blizzard has joined up with Geek and Sundry to bring fans a new round of CelebriD&D themed around the upcoming expansion and featuring Terry Crews alongside some other talented actors.
The lastest session of the series takes place on an island which is covered in Azerite, a powerful substance that comes as a result of Azeroth “bleeding”. Teams for both the Alliance and the Horde land on the island on opposite sides of each other and attempt to retrieve the Azerite before the enemy does.
The hilarious and musclebound Terry Crews joins the session fighting for the Horde as Captain Thodak the Blacksmith. Also joining him for the ride is voice actress Ashly Burch and Critical Role’s Marisha Ray. On the Alliance side is voice actor Troy Baker, leading Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot and Taliesin Jaffe of Critical Role.
The World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is set to arrive on August 14th. D&D can be pretty entertaining but fans can all agree that there’s something special about talented actors and actresses coming together to play out a fantastical tale such as this.
