New Retailer Leaks Point To Telltale Games’ Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy on Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch has been available for sale for nearly two weeks now, and the console’s launch titles (namely The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) are likely keeping early adopters occupied into the system’s life cycle. However, the looming yearly release schedule for games on the Nintendo platform are looking somewhat thin compared to the slated list of games coming within the next year to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Some relief may soon be coming however, as new leaks point to Telltale Games releasing Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy Nintendo Switch versions.
New listings on UK game retailer 365games and Russian retailer GameBuy both have newly posted listings for Nintendo Switch editions of the Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale Games series, and pictures both in the standard Nintendo Switch case style with their cover artwork. Both games list for roughly $30, after converting from the British pound price listings, so it could be reasonably expected for the game to sell at this price in the U.S. The listings have the games available for pre-order, but neither list an expected release date. As of 3/16, Telltale Games has neither confirmed or denied the existence of Nintendo Switch versions of these games.
It should be noted that if these games are indeed coming to the Switch, they would not be the first confirmed Telltale games on the platform. Telltale Games’ Minecraft: Story Mode Complete Adventure has been announced to be released on the Switch before the end of the year. What do you guys think?
