Destiny 2 Strikes

With the release of Destiny 2 almost here, more and more information about the upcoming shooter from Bungie is being revealed. With an awesome live-action trailer with Cayde shouting “Do it for the puppies,” and more info on the first raid itself, there’s a lot to be hyped for. With the console release right around the corner, the popular FPS has six total Destiny 2 strikes to boast about, including an exclusive raid for PlayStation players.

Destiny 2 Strikes

One constant between Destiny and Destiny 2 is the original title also had 5 strikes and one PlayStation exclusive. Many players have already had a chance to play through one of the game’s strikes, The Inverted Spire, during the beta period. This leaves 4-5 strikes left to be discovered by Destiny fans. The leak also provides the names of all of the Destiny 2 strikes to be encountered.

  • The Pyramdion
  • The Inverted Spire
  • Exodus Crash
  • The Arms Dealer
  • Savathûn’s Song
  • Lake of Shadows (PlayStation 4 Exclusive)

The names don’t really give  too much information as to what players will be able to expect from the strikes, however there are small hints such as Savathûn being the name of one of the Sister’s of Oryx as well as a Hive god as mentioned in the Book of Sorrows. Many of the colony ships launched from Russia also have the Exodus within their names, which may possibly hint that the Exodus Crash will feature players on a hunt for a colony ship.

While it may not be confirmed, it isn’t much of a stretch to see more strikes being added in future expansions. The Lake of Shadow strike will remain a PlayStation exclusive until sometime next year. Destiny 2 releases for PlayStation and Xbox One on September 6th and the PC release coming later on October 24th. Are you ready to return to the world of Destiny and fight to take back the Last City?
